Dicous & Haugens at Heber Valley Camp
Troy and Kim invited us to join them at the Heber Valley Camp (for the last 2 years) and this year we were able to go. It is an amazing place - girls camp there is really more like a staying at a hotel. I wish I would have taken pictures of the yurts that we slept in and the camp area, it's so nice. We went on a couple of hikes and then we got to go out on the lake in canoes and paddle boats.

Jackson Hole
We had a great trip to Jackson Hole this year with the Talbots. The only really bad things was that my camera was broken, and I didn't know this until we were in Soda Springs, Idaho. It really bummed me out! How does a scrapbooker/blogger go on vacation without a camera??? Luckily, Talbots had an extra camera with them that they were so kind to let us borrow, so we have a few photos to share.
We hiked to around Jenny Lake up to Inspiration Point and Hidden Falls.

Jackson Hole - part 2
After hiking to Hidden Falls on Friday, we decided to take it easy on Saturday and so we went to one of the ski resorts and went on the alpine slide. It was fun to take the lifts up to the top, what a beautiful view of the valley, too bad I forgot to take a photo.

Waiting in line.

They are so cute together.

Getting ready to go.

After that we went for a drive up to Jackson Lake. Jackson Lake is a pretty big lake with docks for boats and lots of shoreline (not a lot of beach, but a little). It was pretty cloudy and we knew there was a good chance of rain, so we didn't want to get too far from the cars in case of a downpour. On our hike to Hidden Falls we saw a moose - she was just relaxing in the grass about 50 yards away, but thankfully, she didn't care about us. We saw a couple more moose on Saturday, but none were that close. Here are some of the photos we took at Jackson Lake.

Jackson Hole - part 3
After playing at Jackson Lake for a while, we drove back through the Jenny Lake loop to take some more pictures - it was starting to sprinkle so the sky is dark, but I love the view at Jenny Lake!
This is where we stayed - in the cabins behind the teepee.
This is what the kids did every second that we were at the cabins - played house, ran after the dogs or looked at the horses.
Chandler and Curtis could have spent all of their time playing DS, but we were careful to make sure they spent enough time outside catching bugs and breathing in the fresh air.
